Description: The Hill’s local monthly, the Hill Rag, has a school update section. Each school in the area is allowed to submit a brief monthly update featuring school news. We are looking for a volunteer do work with school staff and the PTO president to write this monthly contribution. Work includes brainstorming what to feature, finding or taking an accompanying photograph, drafting the update (no more than a short paragraph). Volunteer will get the draft approved by school staff and submit to the Hill Rag.

Training:  Brief meeting with the PTO president to get you up to speed and to understand the Hill Rag’s parameters.

Time Commitment:  At most, this should take about one hour a month.

Requirements:  This work can be done at home and after hours. Volunteer should feel comfortable writing and keep up to date with school news.
