Gala/Auction Database Manager

Description: Our annual gala will be held in late Spring. We are looking for a Van Ness community member who can be in charge of managing a database for all gala and auction donations and sponsors. This person will help us create automated forms to collect donation information for auction items, and make sure we have collected all the information we need (logo files, addresses, phone numbers). You will also be responsible for making sure all donors receive thank you notes/recognition/tax receipts. 

Training:  You will join a team of event and auction organizers to learn about the gala and learn about who we have approached in the past.  You will have input on how the data is collected and managed so will be looking for your expertise. 

Time Commitment:  We anticipate maybe 20 minutes of work a week January through February, potentially increasing to 45 minutes of work a week in March, April and May.

Requirements:  All of this work can be done at home and after hours. No volunteer clearance required.
