Description: Van Ness is now part of a basketball league!  Our otters will start playing other teams soon, and Ms. Ferguson is looking for parent volunteers to be game referees for our home games.  

Volunteers can sign up for a single game or multiple ones.   All games take place on Thursdays at 4 p.m.  (either at Van Ness or at the Capper Community Center…exact location TBD).    Referees should report to the game at 3:45. Games are an hour.

Training:  Ms. Ferguson can answer questions about what is expected, etc.  But there is no separate training. 

Time Commitment:  At minimum, time commitment is about an hour. More if you sign up for multiple games.

Requirements:  This requires being physically present at school for the duration of the game.
